Your mulkiya is not a marketing asset.

We hold documents people rightly care about — mulkiyas, Emirates IDs, trade licences. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it and when it is deleted, in the same plain English as the rest of the site.

01What this covers

SHORTHow Get Parts collects, uses and protects your information. Sending us a request on WhatsApp means you accept it.

  1. 1.1This policy covers everyone who contacts Get Parts — retail customers, trade accounts and suppliers.
  2. 1.2The version in force is the one published on this page on the day you send your request.

02What we collect

SHORTOnly what finding, checking and billing a part requires. We do not ask for more to “build a profile”.

  1. 2.1Your mulkiya and, where you send it, your VIN — these identify the exact car so the right part is searched for.
  2. 2.2Your name, phone number and delivery address.
  3. 2.3Photographs you send us of parts or damage.
  4. 2.4Your request and order history, including the reports we sent you.
  5. 2.5For trade accounts: the trade licence, the owner’s Emirates ID and the TRN, plus settlement history and, where credit terms exist, the personal guarantee.
  6. 2.6We do not collect your card number — payments are processed by our payment provider, and the card details go to them, not us.

03Why we collect it

SHORTTo find the part, check it fits, bill it correctly and deliver it. Nothing else.

  1. 3.1The mulkiya and VIN are where we get the chassis number that goes to the suppliers with your request.
  2. 3.2Your phone number is how the chat, the delivery updates and the driver reach you.
  3. 3.3Billing details produce the bill in your name and the VAT invoice.
  4. 3.4Order history lets us answer “where is my part” without a reference number, and computes things like your free-search count.
  5. 3.5Trade documents open and operate the trade account, including statements and credit decisions.

04Who sees it

SHORTA supplier sees only what reserving or buying your part requires. Nobody is sold anything.

  1. 4.1Suppliers: the part being bought or held, and — for a collection — your name, so the shop knows who the hold is for. Never your mulkiya, address or history.
  2. 4.2Our payment provider: what card processing requires, under 3-D Secure.
  3. 4.3Our driver: your delivery address and phone number for that delivery.
  4. 4.4Authorities: where UAE law requires it, and only what it requires.
  5. 4.5Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not run advertising audiences on it.

05The chat runs on WhatsApp

SHORTWhatsApp carries the conversation, so WhatsApp’s own terms and encryption apply to the messages in transit.

  1. 5.1Our records of your requests and orders are kept by us; the chat transport is provided by WhatsApp (Meta).
  2. 5.2Photographs of parts are never sent in the chat — they open on your private results link.

07How long we keep things

SHORTBills and VAT records as long as UAE law requires. Everything else no longer than it is useful to you.

  1. 7.1Tax law requires invoices and related records to be kept for a number of years; those we keep for that period.
  2. 7.2Request history is kept so your account works — free-search counts and statements.
  3. 7.3Trade documents are kept while the account is open and for the legally required period after.

08Your choices

SHORTAsk what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The only limits are legal ones.

  1. 8.1Message the same WhatsApp number or email hello@getparts.io from the contact we have on file.
  2. 8.2We will correct anything inaccurate.
  3. 8.3We will delete what we are not legally required to keep — invoices inside the tax retention period, for example, must stay.

09How it is protected

SHORTAccess is limited to the people who need it to do the job in front of them.

  1. 9.1Finders see the part request, not your identity. Drivers see the delivery, not your history.
  2. 9.2Card numbers never touch our systems.
  3. 9.3If something ever goes wrong with your data, we will tell you plainly and quickly.

10Changes and contact

SHORTIf this policy changes, the change appears here with a new date. Questions go to a person, not a form.
